Work Flows¶
Follow a process from start to finish to get something done in MatStream.
Each workflow gives you the steps in the order you need them: where to start, what to do, and what result to expect. A workflow can take you across several features, such as sales orders, stock, purchasing, and shipping.
Detailed topic pages explain individual features, fields, and settings. Workflow guides keep those details brief and link to topic pages when you need more information.
Available workflows¶
Inventor assembly and BOM workflow¶
Create an assembly with existing fittings and a new part, fill in its information in Inventor, create a drawing with a parts list, and publish the drawing and BOM to MatStream using iLogic.
Sales Orders and invoice documents¶
Sales creates a customer order, adds and prices its articles, checks stock demand, confirms the order, and prepares the draft invoice document.
Arrange missing stock¶
Procurement reviews shortages and replenishment requirements, creates supplier Purchase Orders, and issues the orders before handing the delivery information to Warehouse.
Follow the Procurement workflow
Receive goods into the warehouse¶
Warehouse receiving matches a supplier delivery to its PO, records the quantity accepted into a storage location, and checks the outstanding quantities and stock ledger.
Open orders picking packing and sending¶
Warehouse dispatch finds confirmed Sales Orders, records picking and packing, confirms full or partial shipment, and checks the remaining backorder.
Supplier portal workflow¶
Receive a Purchase Order, download the PO and applicable documents, and upload required vendor documents such as material certificates.
Share a PO with a vendor¶
Prepare and share a Purchase Order with its documents and supplier portal link.
